What one improvement is

One approved change, taken all the way through

A new screen, a rule, a report, an export or an import. Small tweaks are bundled together. A bigger change counts as more than one, and we'll say so before you approve it.

A bug in our own work isn't an improvement. We fix it as part of the plan.

Every month includes

  • Monitoring, day and night: whether your system is up, whether backups ran, certificates, and errors people are hitting.
  • Security updates.
  • Fixes to bugs in our own work.
  • Answers to your support questions.
  • Your manual, kept current.
  • An email with screenshots each time something changes.

Your controls

Some things are never automated

We use modern tools to build and look after your systems. These are always done by a person, deliberately, and never by software on its own.

And nothing reaches your live system until you've said yes.

Private servers

Want it off the public internet?

For firms that handle sensitive work, we can run your system on its own private server, reachable only over your own secure network. Your staff connect through a VPN; it isn't on the public internet at all.

You still get the same monitoring, the same monthly improvements and the same approvals.

Your code and data are yours

Anything we build for you is yours once it's paid for. Your data was always yours. We look after it; we never own it.

Who it's for

  • Firms that run on a system built for them, or that should: a spreadsheet that's grown too big, an old system, a process held together by email.
  • Firms that want their systems to keep improving, without hiring a software team.

Who it isn't for

If your business runs entirely on a vendor's platform with nothing of your own to improve, we'd be taking your money for nothing. We'll tell you so.

No. New clients start with a free 30-minute call, then a review of how the business works, ending in a written list of what we'd improve first. You keep the list either way.
