NASA Data Systems — International Trade & Technology Integration, on Insight
Binary's longest-running client relationship — NASA Data Systems trades internationally into demanding markets, and Insight has run the paperwork behind it since 2006: export documentation, customs invoices, and the clearance certificates every shipment actually needs.
Import and export is the core of NASA Data Systems' business — sourcing and shipping technology, equipment and industrial goods into demanding overseas markets. Libya has been one of their longest-standing export destinations, and they've kept trading there continuously through serious political upheaval, including the fall of the Gaddafi government in 2011 — the kind of client history that says more about a real trading relationship than any case study copy could. Insight carries the weight that kind of continuity actually depends on: the export documentation, customs invoices, and clearance certificates every shipment needs to get across a border, not just the commercial side of the deal.
Alongside the trading itself, NASA Data also runs technology procurement and systems integration across four divisions — IT & Telecom, Electro-Mechanical, Safety & Security, and Petro-Chem — supplying, installing and supporting equipment as a genuine extension of their clients' own procurement operations. It's Binary's longest-running client relationship by a distance: NASA Data has been running on Insight since 2006, the system built out and extended the whole way through as the business itself has grown.
